If you love your jewelry, you must treat it with care and love.
Please store your jewelry in a safe place away from natural daylight and moisture, and keep it away from all sources of heat. It's recommended to store each piece in an individual box to avoid scratching. Avoid direct contact with water or chemical products such as soap, perfume, makeup, and hairspray, as they may dull the finish and cause discoloration. Remove your jewelry while bathing, showering, or doing household chores.
ÈVE only uses natural stones, each with its own unique characteristics and textures, including different levels of hardness. Please be aware that stones may break if subjected to strong impact, and heat can also affect them.
Silver jewelry may tarnish (oxidize) over time. To minimize tarnishing, gently wipe your jewelry clean with a silver cleaning cloth occasionally. If your jewelry eventually tarnishes, you can visit any ÈVE store or jeweler to submit your item for a polishing service (fees may apply). Please note that 925 sterling silver is a soft metal, so scratches and small bulks are considered normal wear and tear. Avoid bending or pulling chains, bangles, or rings.
All our gold vermeil jewelry is crafted with a thick layer of 18k gold over sterling silver, ensuring long-lasting plating. To clean your gold vermeil jewelry, simply use a dry cloth. Strictly avoid direct contact with water or chemical products such as soap, perfume, makeup, and hairspray, as they may damage the plating.
Brass jewelry may tarnish (oxidize) over time. To minimize tarnishing, gently wipe your jewelry clean with a brass cleaner occasionally.
With the right care, your jewelry will last for a long time!
Each ÈVE bag is handcrafted with genuine leather. Differences in colors and textures are inherent characteristics of the natural leather chosen for the ÈVE collection. Genuine leather is both beautiful and durable. By following these care instructions, your ÈVE handbag can last for years.
Leather naturally absorbs oils and other substances, including those from your own skin. To prevent tarnishing, keep potentially damaging items, such as makeup and beauty products, isolated within your bag.
Avoid overstuffing your leather bag, as it can permanently alter its shape. Also, refrain from carrying too many heavy objects to prevent stretching or tearing of the leather.
Moisture can damage your handbag, causing swelling and loss of shape. Try to avoid using your leather bag on rainy or snowy days. If it does get wet, gently dry it with towels and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer or other heating sources.
Regular use can make your handbag dirty, so cleaning and conditioning are essential for preserving its beauty.
If you notice a stain or mark on your handbag, treat it as soon as possible. We recommend using one of our leather care products and following the manufacturer's instructions. Generally, you'll need to rub the leather lotion into the bag in a circular motion, let it sit for a while, and then carefully wipe it off with a clean cloth.
To prevent drying out and cracking, regularly apply a leather conditioner to your handbag. Under normal conditions, conditioning once or twice a year is recommended. Please test conditioning products in a hidden spot, as they may darken the leather.
If your bag is frequently exposed to rough conditions or water, pre-treat it with a protective spray. However, it's important to test the spray before use, as it may alter the color and texture of your handbag.
Proper storage is important when you're not using your bag. Store it in a dry and ventilated place to extend its life and maintain its beauty. Before storing, stuff the compartments with tissue paper to help the bag retain its shape. If your bag has metal buckles, wrap them in tissue paper to prevent marks. Taking care of your bag as an investment will ensure its longevity.
All our scarves are made from natural fibers, such as wool, which require proper cleaning and care to keep them looking beautiful. Follow these guidelines for maintaining your ÈVE scarf.
CLEANING METHODS:
There are two recommended ways to clean your scarf. The first is to have it professionally dry-cleaned. The second is to clean it by hand using the following steps:
Pilling is a natural process that can occur even in high-quality wool, such as cashmere. Pills are little balls of fiber that gather on the surface due to friction. Over time, they will reduce, making your wool item feel even softer. To minimize pilling initially, you can hand wash or professionally dry-clean your wool item. Additionally, store your scarf away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
By following these care guidelines, you can ensure that your ÈVE jewelry, leather bags, and scarves remain in great condition for a long time.
