With a little care, your pieces will stay beautiful for years to come.
General Care Tips
Store your jewelry in a dry, shaded place — ideally in separate airtight polybags, in boxes or soft pouches to prevent scratching. Avoid exposure to moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Always remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, applying perfume or lotion, or doing household tasks. Harsh chemicals and water can dull finishes or cause discoloration.
We use only natural stones in our jewelry. Each stone is unique and may vary in texture or hardness. Please handle with care — strong impact or heat can damage the stone.
Timeless and durable, 14k gold is made to last — but a little care goes a long way in keeping it radiant. To maintain the shine and finish of your solid gold jewelry, gently clean it from time to time with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. For deeper cleaning, soak the piece in warm water with mild soap, then rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Our gold vermeil jewelry features a thick layer of 18k gold over sterling silver — designed for lasting beauty. To clean, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, soap, makeup, and hairspray, as these can wear down the gold layer over time.
Sterling silver may naturally oxidize over time. To keep its shine, gently polish with a silver cleaning cloth when needed. If tarnish appears, you can bring your piece to any EVE store or local jeweler for a professional polish (fees may apply).
Note: 925 silver is a soft metal, so small scratches and marks are part of normal wear. Avoid bending chains, bangles, or rings.
Brass jewelry may naturally tarnish (oxidize) over time. To keep it looking its best, gently wipe the piece with a soft cloth and use a brass cleaner when needed. With a little care and attention, your brass jewelry will stay beautiful for years to come.
Each EVE bag is handcrafted from genuine leather. Variations in color and texture are natural characteristics of the material — part of what makes every piece unique. With proper care, your bag will age beautifully and stay by your side for years to come..
Leather absorbs oils and other substances — even from your skin. To help preserve its finish, keep items like makeup and beauty products stored separately inside your bag.
Avoid overfilling your bag, as this can stretch the leather and distort its shape over time.
Try not to carry heavy objects that may cause strain or stress on handles and seams.
Moisture can affect the leather’s surface and structure. Avoid using your bag in rainy or snowy weather when possible. If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a soft towel and let it air dry away from heat sources — never use a hair dryer or direct heat.
Regular use brings character to your handbag — but a little cleaning and conditioning go a long way in preserving its beauty and longevity.
If you notice a stain or mark, treat it as soon as possible. We recommend using a high-quality leather care product and following the manufacturer's instructions. Typically, this involves gently rubbing a small amount of leather lotion into the leather in circular motions, letting it absorb, and then wiping away any excess with a clean cloth.
To prevent dryness and cracking, apply a leather conditioner once or twice a year.
Always test the product on a discreet area first, as some conditioners may slightly darken the leather.
If your bag is regularly exposed to rain or rough conditions, a protective spray can help guard against moisture and stains. Be sure to test it in an inconspicuous area before full application, as it may alter the color or texture.
When not in use, store your handbag in EVE dustbag and in a dry, well-ventilated place.
To help it maintain its shape, gently stuff compartments with tissue paper. Wrap any metal hardware in soft paper to prevent marks or imprints.
Treat your EVE bag as the investment it is — and it will stay with you for years to come.
All our scarves are made from natural fibers — like wool — which require gentle care to stay soft and beautiful. Follow these simple steps to help preserve your scarf for years to come.
Cleaning Methods
There are two recommended ways to clean your scarf:
Pilling is a natural and common process in wool, including premium fibers like cashmere. Small fiber balls may appear with friction, but they will reduce over time, leaving your scarf even softer.
To help minimize pilling:
With just a little care, your EVE scarf will stay soft, timeless, and ready to wrap you in comfort season after season.
