LEATHER BAGS CARE GUIDELINES

Each Papaya bag is handcrafted in genuine leather. Differences in colors and texture are inherent characteristics of the natural leather chosen to create the Papaya collection. Genuine leather is beautiful and durable at the same time. A Papaya handbag can last for years when cared for properly. During regular use, your handbag is subjected to a variety of different damaging conditions. There's a lot you can do to preserve the beauty of your favourite bag.

KEEP IT CLEAN:

Leather naturally absorbs oils and other substances that touch it, even from your own skin. Oil can attract dirt, leaving your handbag looking tarnish. Because leather is prone to staining, it's smart to keep potentially damaging items isolated in your bag. Moisture can quickly damage your handbag, leading to swelling and loss of shape. If possible, avoid using your leather bag on rainy or snowy days. If it accidentally occurred, you can dry it out with towels. Allow it to air dry the rest of the way on its own; do not use a hair dryer or other heating source.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LEATHER HANDBAG?

Even with proper care, you handbag will get dirty with regular use. Cleaning and conditioning your bag can prevent permanent damage.

If you find that your bag is frequently exposed to rough conditions (e.g. water). It may be a good idea to pre-treat it with a protective spray. It's important to test them before use. As it can change the color and texture of your handbag.
